Business Model

For those of you that might be interested in using our technology, there are different possible types of license and collaboration, as our business models include:

– autonomous modality with or without exclusive rights
– partnership modality with or without exclusive rights
– full license modality to third parties modality with or without exclusive rights

Autonomous modality with or without exclusive rights

In this modality Heru Sails works in complete autonomy designing, developing, testing and marketing variable profile wing sails for any sector (naval, aeronautical, etc).

Heru Sail can reserve the exclusive rights of the patent on its marketed products. Mediation is possible for distribution and marketing. The main marketing channel is online (virtual shop).

Partnership modality with or without exclusive rights

In this modality Heru Sails works in agreement (joint or not) with one or more subjects in the designing, developing, testing and marketing of variable profile wing sails for any sector (naval, aeronautical, etc).

Heru Sails can choose to grant the exclusive rights of the patent or not for its marketed products. Mediation is possible for distribution and marketing.

The marketing and distribution channels are usually those of the partners.

Full license modality to third parties with or without exclusive rights

In this modality it is the licensee that designs, develops, tests and markets the product, namely the variable profile wing sails.

Heru Sail can choose to grant the exclusive rights of the patent or not for the marketed products.

In this modality the licensee can ask Heru Sails to take part in the design and development of the products based on the patent of the variable profile wing sails.

The exclusive rights of the patent can be referred to a particular product of a commodities sector, for example wing sails for iceboat, wing sails for 20-30 ft. catamarans, kitesurf etc..
